· The task is to set up a build and CM facility for document and code management purposes.
· The contractor is also responsible for identifying the hosting facility for setting up the Infrastructure.
· The contractor will set up the facility with GFE.
· The hardware architecture for the CM setup will accommodate Configuration Management requirements for PROJECT X and future scalability.
· These CM repository will configurations manage both code and documents for a development project.
· PROJECT X is a large-scale development effort and is the largest project within DEPT X.
· This activity will also involve migrating documents and code currently hosted on Dell servers into this new CM repository..
· The ideal candidate should have at least 6-8 years experience setting up configuration management repository in various platforms.
· The in deal candidate will have a strong background in Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies.
· The resource must have 2-3 years of experience setting up Rational products.
· He should be able to analyze the current CM setup for PROJECT X and suggest improvements to provide future flexibility.
We are looking for a candidate that has considerable hands on experience implementing Rational Tools namely
· ClearQuest
· ClearCase
· ReqPro
· Subversion
· PVCS and Build tools such as
* ANT
* Cruise Control
He should have good communication skills and should be comfortable leading workshops to gather feedback from the users of the repository.
