* 3+ years experience in product management or similar position within the automotive aftermarket
* Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment
* Experience in a team oriented atmosphere is a plus
* Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
* Ability to move projects through the organization with minimal direction
* Experience setting goals and objectives and developing plans for implementation
* Expertise of Microsoft Office software
* Ability to relocate to Alabama
Description:
* Support and develop specific projects as related to expand or leverage existing product capabilities in conjunction with sales
* Develop new product categories as needed, in coordination with purchasing, engineering, sales/marketing and operations
* Conducting research, evaluating market distribution and channels
* Communicate with suppliers with request for quotes, availability and target prices as needed
* New Part Number expansion
* Id market preferences for product branding
* Develop project schedules and time lines
* Assist catalog manager in development of catalogs, electronic cataloging, inventory planning, packaging, price sheets, collateral materials and advertising
* Provide technical product support at trade shows as required
