Salary: $65,000 to $70,000
- Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling of terminal activities
- Budgetary responsibility
- Ensure achievement of on-time service
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
- Maximize operational efficiencies and to achieve the financial results, maintain on-time service levels, and develop methods for continuous improvement
- Manage and develop staff
- Lead by example to help employees identify and work towards the goals necessary for organizational success
- Set benchmarks and install processes that monitor and track the progress made towards achieving agreed upon corporate and professional goals
- In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player:
- Previous facility management experience
- 5-10 years of transportation management experience
- Strong background in courier and LTL transportation
- Planning and budget creation experience
- Ability to lead and mentor others
- Superior communication skills
- Customer-oriented
