Compensation: $80,000 to $85,000

Requirements:
* Five or more years experience in product management dealing with automotive aftermarket or related product lines
* Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment
* 4 year degree
* Proven track record in turning around, maintaining or increasing product margins/market share
* Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
* Ability to move projects through the organization with minimal direction
* Experience setting goals and objectives and developing plans for implementation
* Expertise of Microsoft Office software
* Ability to relocate to Akron / Cleveland OH area
Description:
* Research, development and launch of new products sufficient to meet company growth and financial objectives
* Coordination of functional areas of the business necessary to attain the annual plan, forecasts and strategic business objectives
* Research and development of new products based on market trends and customer demand
* Prepare business plans for all new products and present to senior management for approval
* Product line P&L accountability
* Provide specific details on the products to be marketed including product, packaging, etc
* Provide a 5 year revenue plan
* Provide sourcing strategy that includes identification of any new suppliers, purchased terms and conditions and an inventory plan for market support
* Provide sales channel plan to grow, support target market/ customers and a marketing plan to promote the new products
* Develop a plan with the quality department and the suppliers that insures product reliability
* Develop an engineering plan that identifies the costs and objectives needed to develop the products that will meet customer requirements
* Negotiate all design trade agreement associated with the new products with the assistance of legal
* Management of current and new products through the product life cycle
* Attend and assist at trade shows as required. Develop trade show displays as required
