- Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.

Duties and responsibilities:
Battery:
- Maintains, inspects, installs and cleans batteries and terminals;
- Tests and modulates metering devices and charging equipment;
- Takes voltage and specific gravity readings;
- Fills batteries with water; and recharges, removes and replaces batteries;
- Assembles plates and separators;
- Performs electroplating work;
- Installs intercell straps and burns them into place;
- Prepares and adds acid solutions;
- Charges and cycles batteries;
- Keeps routine battery service records;
- Makes cost estimates for electroplating work;
- Participates in the training of Apprentice Battery Technicians.
- Maintains operating service records for batteries;
- prepares activity and inventory reports; and recommends replacement of station control batteries.
Tire:
- Responsible for all tire issues for the Fleet Division of the IPM Group
- Responsible for cost reduction, efficiency improvements of the tires
- Interface with suppliers, purchasing, quality, and assembly plants.
- Analyze and recommend the best tire brands/quality
- Other task assigned from time to time within the Fleet division
