Job Description
Our Company is seeking to hire a Retail Store Manager with experience (Mall / Department Store) retail/Wholesale/and FMCG industries to join our Retail Department and who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our Store.
At least 8 years relevant experience in retail management position with Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field are required.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and team player.
Retail Manager Job Responsibilities:
* Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to staffs
* Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
* Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
* Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
* Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
* Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
* Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
* Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
* Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
* Ensure the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
* Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so
* Preparing promotional materials and displays
* Liaising with head office
Retail Manager Requirements:
* Degree in business administration or any field.
* At least 8 years’ Experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar position in a Retail / Wholesale / Fast Moving Consumer Goods industries (FMCG).
* Knowledge of stock inventory and supply control.
* Supervisory and management experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Flexibility - ability to work in both team works or independently.
* With a valid passport
* Willing to work and be assigned in Lae City, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea
